I fill the hole in the centre of the bobbin with the silicone and let it cure for 24 hours.Toptattyheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02568611601207913534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7572278434550981040.post-38485158793949339282012-08-11T23:59:16.240+01:002012-08-11T23:59:16.240+01:00Are you talking about ANY bobbin type shuttle? I read once that putting the shuttle into boiling water briefly and then holding it onto the bobbin would help. I have tried it, but didn't have great success.Jane McLellanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17221433363521511688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7572278434550981040.post-37402158848850092552012-07-31T19:52:59.598+01:002012-07-31T19:52:59.598+01:00Thanks for the tip!
I find it fascinating that ...Thanks for the tip!

I find it fascinating that the original Aeros Made in England don't seem to have this problem (at least mine don't, but then I'm not doing that much tatting these days). Whatever mold they used was beautifully and perfectly engineered, and we took them for granted! I appreciate that other manufacturers are trying to duplicate them, but so far none have come up to that standard!Kathy Niklewiczhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03471658272689112787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7572278434550981040.post-28807479027328781402012-07-31T16:55:45.969+01:002012-07-31T16:55:45.969+01:00There's a trip to the store coming up!
