I put a sequin/bead onto a needle threader, tat to the point where I need the sequin/bead, pull up a loop of ring/chain thread (not the core thread) put the loop through the needle threader, pull the sequin/bead over the loop, thread the shuttle through the loop now extending through the sequin/bead and finally draw up the loose thread easing the sequin/bead into position, continue to tat the rest of the ring or chain.<BR/>I hope this makes sense. I describe it together with pictures in all of my pattern books which can be bought from my web site.
