Classic Doily for birthday present

This is my Classic Doily (pattern in Free section) that I did for my best friend's birthday. She absolutely loved it, as I knew she would....I had done it in very fine thread....DMC vintage 70....making it very fine.

Oval creation

I decided I wanted a new tatted oval doily and so picked up my shuttles and made a start....this is the result so far. I am using a DMC vintage thread in size 70.
