Excellent Demonstration and very cleary explained! I am definately referring a newbie to that video. I had no idea about the second method! I'm going to try it...it makes sense to do it that way...not so confusing. I've been tatting for nearly 3 decades and I thought I knew so much and it's true you really do learn something new everyday!
Again, another wonderful video. I also prefer the "Dead Spider" method, though I haven't tried the first method. You have such a lovely voice, by the way.

I like the second way you did it the best of coarse, but it wasn't working for me before, but now after watching the way you hold the threads doing it, it looks so much easier. Thanks, a lot!
Last visit was in September and I thought I had it, but darn....I had forgotten to turn my left hand the way you did...so glad I watched it again. I got it now for sure!!
