In my book From Petals To Pearls (which was written over many years and published in the early 1990's) I have a pattern for the hyacynth flower, but t'other day I was passing my local florist's shop window and spotted a hyacynth in full bloom.
I got to thinking about how I could improve on my first design and this is what I have come up with. Perhaps I should start a new book with just flowers from bulbs! Now there's a project to think about!

absolutely beautiful Linda... I am looking at my beauties in full bloom allthough they are starting to die off a bit. Those would be nice to have year round sitting on a table... Now that book with tatting flowers only from bulbs sounds fantastic!!!
