Tatted brooches for Tat Days
These are the brooches I designed as gifts for the Tat Days tutors. I never actually got around to writing out the pattern and so I had better do it soon so that I can post the pattern PDF in my Free Pattern section.
Very Pretty. Everyone of us will want this pattern! I've been trying to decide what kind of broach, flower, or what to put on my cool vest I use in hot weather. Making a MK edging for it, but it needs another touch. I think this may do it!
I want to personally thank you for the design and brooches. This was my first year teaching at Palmetto. When they passed them around to the teachers I was able to obtain the blue one. It is very lovely. I wear it more than any other piece of tatting I have.
Thanks for this lovely pattern. Thanks for all your lovely patterns, actually! :-) I came here today because I was wowed by an example of your Oval Doily, and I'd like to make it, too...
The brooches are lovely! That's something I would enjoy making.
ReplyDeletePretty!

ReplyDeleteBrooches are the only jewellery items I wear - maybe the very very occasional necklace, but I really love these !
