This is my Delicacy Doily done in my husbands favourite colours of brown and cream. I didn't notice at first that I had accidently missed some of the rows out, but it seems to have worked very well with none of the ruffling that some tatters had experienced!
Designer of many tatting patterns. Simple method of beaded tatting. Flowers are my inspiration!

Scented Heart Sachet
I made this little scented heart sachet for Aimee Grace, my friend's granddaughter, as she loves girly things, to hang among her clothes. I scented it with a tropical refill for a car air freshener....it smells really pretty without being overpowering and when it fades she can dab it with any other perfume.

Tudor Rose
Here is my attempt at a Tudor Rose. I didn't notice until I had finished that it should only have had 5 petals and not 6!

Tudor rose project
I started this motif as a snowflake, but after nearly finishing it, it reminded me of a Tudor Rose. I've since looked up the Tudor Rose only to find that I need to swap the colours around. I will do the motif again to try and achieve a much closer likeness.

Little bells
These little bells started life as little angels but you know what it's like when you start designing....one thing very often turns into another!

Christmas snowflake ornaments
This is my latest snowflake pattern.
The white beaded ones show the design progression, but the blue beaded ones are the finished article.

Christmas Tree Earrings 2016
It's that time again! Another Christmas is around the corner and so I thought I would make a new pair of my Christmas Tree Earrings.
This pair is made with perle No 8 with tiny seed beads.
I now stiffen the earrings with hair spray. I have found that it works very well, does not affect the colour of the cotton and can be re-applied again and again if the earrings become limp.
The link to the PDF pattern is at the bottom of my free patterns list on the right side bar.

Tatted brooches for Tat Days
These are the brooches I designed as gifts for the Tat Days tutors. I never actually got around to writing out the pattern and so I had better do it soon so that I can post the pattern PDF in my Free Pattern section.

New Collar PDFs uploaded
I have uploaded two new collar patterns to my Free Pattern section, I tried to put pictures of them in this post but blogger is having a moment and simply isn't playing!
Although I designed them two years ago I wasn't able to publish them because they were designed specifically as presents for the teachers at Palmettos Tat Days. Now that the Tat Days event has taken place (last weekend) I can now share the patterns with the rest of the tatting community.
I also designed a brooch for the same set of teachers but I haven't written the pattern for those....maybe soon.
