Little doily/coaster

 

Measuring just 4ins/10cm across using 50 cotton, ideal for a coaster. 

Motifs

 Just playing around. I’ve decided to expand on the left hand one. 

This is what I’ve got so far. 

After such a “busy” start I thought it needed some negative space.

 I ended up finishing with a scalloped edge. 

I still have to press it yet. 

Now pressed and looking a lot tidier. 

New doily with no name

 As usual, making it up as I go along. 

Rectangular spectacular!

 This is the first tatting I have done in a few years. I had lost most of my dexterity in my right hand because I thought the slipped disc in my neck was pressing on my nerves however I was eventually diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease an since taking the correct medication a great amount of my dexterity has come back. I don’t know what project I will do next but the prospects are really exciting!
