Very pretty! I think the thread is perfect! Do you have a design for Queen Anne's Lace? It's my favorite, even though Dave keeps telling me it's a weed!

Hi Diane,
I had to google the Queen Anne's Lace as I didn't know what it looked like. In England we know it as yarrow - a wild flower that grows in the hedgerows. I have a pattern in my book From Petals To Pearls that would surfice for this that I called Star Cluster. Just make rings of 6 picots sep by 2ds and glue to a fine green wire of 5cm that has a white sead bead glued to one end. Group about 4 or 5 completed flowers together and tape with green florists tape. Tape about nine of these groups together onto a heavier green wire for the stem. For the yarrow I would make the centre groups of flowers slightly shorter than the outside groups. Obviously you would use a white thread, I suggest a good stiff one like Coates or DMC size 20. I will post a picture of the Star Cluster on my blog to give you a better idae
