I had made a note yesterday to remind myself to comment about your incredible fan, and before I set electronic 'pen to paper', you've already published the PATTERN and instructions - in great detail!

To put it mildly, I'm BLOWN AWAY by all of this! I have looked at fans and wondered how one could tat one that folded up, but I determined it would be too complicated Of course, you just forged ahead and did it! FABULOUS!

I'm also amazed you used size 70 thread. WOW!

It is SO GENEROUS of you to share this with us! What a marvelous wedding accessory and keepsake this would be - and also a beautiful decoration for a wedding album or - dare I say it - a CAKE ?? !!

I lament the fact that we have so few places to carry a fancy fan like this. We 'dress up' so rarely anymore. I DO have costumes, though - and I even have a fan 'base' I could use.

Thank you SO MUCH!!!

Thank you Linda. One of the first lace days I participated in with my lace guild featured fans and I tatted a few for the display but none on fansticks. I still place to do that some day! Very nice pattern.

Those of us of a "certain age" can certainly use a fan! Now I just need to learn how to tat. What a beautiful pattern! Thanks so much for this.

I was so excited to get the pattern that I forgot to put in my thanks..! I am eternally grateful as it looks so beautiful! No I should be able to use at least one of the fan sticks that I have had for quite a while. Thanks again...!!
PS If I did leave a thanks somewhere that's OK to.....
