I have been requested to show a close-up of the edging of the wedding dress and veil. This is the best I can do as the photo is not digital.
Each extending ring has a pearl bead and so you can imagine how many hundreds I used!
The edging was worked directly onto the tulle, but I made yards of the edging for the dress and sewed it on by hand.
The dress and veil can be found in my book From Petals to Pearls.

Beautiful veil, thanks for sharing it with us. You must have spent hours making the edging and I am sure on the day it looked beautiful

That's absolutely amazing. Such a labor of love -- I don't think I like anybody that much!
Precioso y un trabajo de titanes, debio llevar mucho tiempo, pero eso le da un gran valor, ya que no habia toda una escuela real haciendo el vestido. Este tiene mucho más valor.
Beautiful classic lace. Wonderful!
Blogger has been playing up and eaten one of my posts!
I had already posted this one about the edging, but it seems to have disappeared. In the meantime I received to comments for the original post, but when I tried to publish them, Blogger wouldn't let me!
So I am posting them here myself:

Just to put things straight. This wedding dress and veil was done for a promotion and not an actual bride!
Absolutely amazing!
you may have posted this...How long was the edging you tatted? Again, amazing!

So beautiful! I am looking around for ideas for a tatted veil edging. What type of thread did you use? Was it just cotton or did you go for something like silk for some more shine?
The thread I used was Coates cotton size 20. With a large veil like this one you need a substantial thread to stand out, also robust enough to hold the many beads I used.
