Little Beaded Tiara

This little tiara has been stiffened using hairspray. It wasn't stiff enough and so I sprayed it again and it made a big difference. I will spray it one more time just to see if it makes it even stiffer!

Oooooh! I absolultely love it! I have been wanting to tat a tiara but haven't found the time or the right pattern. Tatting one is definately on my list!

It's gorgeous!

Thank you both for your lovely comments. In the past I have always covered the wires in white tape and then glued the tatting onto the wire. This time I encapsulated the wire with tatting and then tatted directly onto that. I think it looks better.

I also love your Tiara. IT is so very very pretty. Are you planning on wearing it somewhere? You do such beautiful tatting ...truly you do.

You never cease to amaze me. It is gorgeous. Do you have a special purpose for it?

This has been made as a sample for my local hair dresser to have in the bridal corner of her salon. The next item that I shall make for this corner is a veil with a beaded tatted edge and a headdress with my own beaded bridal flowers.
