I have now uploaded my next video tutorial....this time on how the join threads, after re-winding a shuttle, without leaving loose ends to sew in.

I have uploaded a new video to YouTube on how to start tatting in two colours without tying the thread together, thus avoiding having to sew the loose ends in.

This is my Classic Doily (pattern in Free Pattern section) that I am doing in green and white size 20 thread

I decided to do another of my New Year Doilies....the pattern PDF link is in my Free Pattern section. I made a mistake in round 10 (an extra picot) but instead of undoing it, I went with it and did double clunies in round 11.

Delicacy Doily - inadvertently edited!

This is my Delicacy Doily done in my husbands favourite colours of brown and cream. I didn't notice at first that I had accidently missed some of the rows out, but it seems to have worked very well with none of the ruffling that some tatters had experienced!

Scented Heart Sachet

I made this little scented heart sachet for Aimee Grace, my friend's granddaughter, as she loves girly things, to hang among her clothes. I scented it with a tropical refill for a car air freshener....it smells really pretty without being overpowering and when it fades she can dab it with any other perfume.

Tudor Rose

Here is my attempt at a Tudor Rose. I didn't notice until I had finished that it should only have had 5 petals and not 6!

Tudor rose project

I started this motif as a snowflake, but after nearly finishing it, it reminded me of a Tudor Rose. I've since looked up the Tudor Rose only to find that I need to swap the colours around. I will do the motif again to try and achieve a much closer likeness.
