I have also included in the video, a way of doing a split ring, using just one shuttle and the ball thread.
As YouTube only accept videos to a mazimum of 10 minutes I had to do a fair bit of editing. I hope this doesn't spoil your enjoyment of the film, but I have still managed to cover the necessities!

This is right on time for me. I tried a split chain about a week ago & failed miserably. Thanks for doing this wonderful video! I seem to only learn tatting "things" by seeing them being done! Now, I'll give split chains another try.
Perfect! Not only a split chain, but the dreaded split ring. I tend to avoid these at all costs because there are so few good instructions out there that I (being dyslexic) can follow. This one really made sense. Thanks so much!!!!
