Still here!

Just to let everyone know that I am still here in the background.

My back is too painful for me to sit and tat at the moment, and I am still concentrating on finishing the sugarcraft roses for my son's and futuer DIL's wedding cake, whenever I feel up to sitting long enough, that is!

Everything else has been put on hold at the moment. I am on the waiting list for my spinal surgery.....have been on the 6 months waiting list for 12 weeks....but I am classed as urgent and so could be slotted in at any time. I hope it will be soon so that I can recover in plenty of time for the wedding in September!

Rum deal that! It's good you have some time to work on the sugarcraft roses. I hope you get slotted in for your surgery soon and that your recovery is a breeze.

I do so hope you will feel better and that a place will open up for you. You are in my prayers.
DH is able to dress himself (with his little aids...which are quite clever) even tho he's not to bend over 90 degrees, also showers by himself and walks up ad down the halls w his walker. He is raring to go home!

Sending good wishes your way

I don't know what type of surgery your going to have, but I have had surgery now 2 years ago on two discs. It helped me a lot, but I still have pain from arthritis and the breaking down of another disc. I wish you luck and my healing time afterwords wasn't all that long. I have scoliosis so mine is never ending. I'm hope yours is good and I'll say some prayers for you and a speedy recovery.
