I was playing around with my cross bookmark pattern, which I thought I could make into a star shape and this is the result - 5 pointed like a starfish - I quite like it. Next I am going to make a "straight" bookmark with the same josephine knot edging.

My next door neighbour is very kind to me, always lending me great books to read and so I thought I would surprise her with one of my cross bookmarks.

Love the 'starfish' variation of your cross and your doily looks great on display.
I love your star doily!!!
Your cross bookmark is great!
And your oval doily is so beautiful!!! :)
All of your pieces are beautiful! I love the way you're displaying your doily. My grandmother always had glass on her table tops to protect them. It might not be a bad idea for me!
Your star and cross are very pretty. But, your doily is beautiful.
I love the starfish lovely design, and your bookmark is beautiful, Lovely to seethat your hard work is being used. Nothing worse than making something and then its put in a draw,
Margaret
