The cake is a rich fruit one and could last for months, but being laced with so much whiskey I don't expect it will last for very long! It is covered with 2lbs of marzipan and 2lbs of soft icing. All the decoration is done by myself including the lily.

Wonderful job ; love the simple elegance! I doubt I've seen such a glossy, polished look on a flower before (on the lily petals) !

Hi Linda, I was at Palmettos a week ago and I saw the collar that you designed and was tatted up for the Tatting teachers. I was a teacher assistant. I do not have your email but was wondering if there was someway I could obtain the pattern for the collar. The collars were beautiful and I don't see the pattern in your list of free patterns.
