Just curious-is the bride planning on tossing it? I sure wouldn't!

That is so beautiful. What a wonderful heirloom you have made. Surely, the bride will keep it forever. What will the bridesmaids carry--just curious.

Hi Linda, What a wonderful creation and a true tribute to the craft of tatting. You should be very proud of yourself. Very well done.

That's the most beautiful bridal bouquet I've ever seen. Like Ginny, I hope she doesn't throw it -- that she gets some ordinary old flowers to throw!

Thank you, everyone, for your lovely comments and for those of you who have asked - no, she will not be throwing it! - it is going to be framed to keep for posterity.

I don't know anything else about the wedding as it is for a fellow tatter's grand-daughter in the USA (I am in England).

When a new tatter bought my books a couple of years ago with the express desire to tat her grand-daughter's bridal bouquet, I always said that if she got into difficulties I would tat the flowers for her. So you can guess what happened! I got the request to tat the flowers a few weeks ago, but me being me, went a step further and decided to do the whole thing! But don't think I am complaining - I have enjoyed every moment of doing it!

What is going on with blogger? I thought for sure that I had already commented on this post. I love your beautiful tatted rose leaves! What beautiful creations you come up with!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment on my blog today. I am so sorry to hear that you have to have surgery again. Surgery is no fun at all, is it? I am glad to know I can play some small part in bringing some cheer into your day!
Cheerio!

I think your flowers are lovely, I am trying to make a set of my own though not for a wedding. May I ask which flowers you used in the wedding bouquet?

Theresa, I used daffodils and star gazer lilies, rose leaves and one ring daisies glued at intervals down long wires.
