Here we go again, another slight alteration. Following advice from Barb from HBT I took the flower apart (not a difficult job) and re-assembled it so that it was closer together at the base. Barb was absolutely right....it does look much better.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all my followers who have given me encouragment and advice on all the patterns that I do. Your constructive criticism is extremely helpful!

it was pretty before, but now the iris is exquisite. you are so talented. i must have that book.
wow, reassembling the flower made the biggest difference!! i agree with the other comments, that it was a pretty flower before, but now it's breath-taking!! i think this version is more recognizable as an iris! i commend you for first of all making the pattern, and then putting yourself out there for constructive criticism *which can sometimes be more hurtful than helpful* but all the comments from HBT were of the nice variety ;)
YOU GO!!!! can't wait to see what patterns are going to be in the final book!
You are amazing.
I have never made a flower yet, but this one is beautiful? Is this one of yours or is it from a book. If you have it listed somewhere and I missed it, sorry. I would like to try one after seeing this. I love it!
