Following advice from the comments on my previous post of my Amaryllis, I have put three thick wires together and encapsulated them with tatting. I hope the finished item meets with my critics' approval LOL!
Designer of many tatting patterns. Simple method of beaded tatting. Flowers are my inspiration!

wonderfull
That's so pretty! I'm glad to see you back in form.
Wow! What more is there to say? Once that lovely flower is matched up with the nifty leaves from your previous post it's going to be knock-down beautificent!
Oh, wait -- what kind of comment moderation verification word is BUTBAS? These words are getting stranger every day.
I do love it!!!
Your Amaryllis has really caught my attention-- I can't wait for the book to be released now. I've got to find a way to put together enough to buy it even if my unemployed husband doesn't get a job soon. Have to start putting away pristine dollar bills-- somehow, I manage to be able to accumulate the money I need for something special I want!
So glad to hear you're home!
Considering all you've accomplished while dealing with your back problems and then the operation, I can't imagine how your creativity will soar when you are well! Everything you do is outstanding!
Your 3D tatting (any of your tatting for that matter) is absolutely stunning.
I can only ever hope to tat as great as you.
You really inspire, thanks!
take care,
